Crumble’s Gluten Free Milk Tart is our spin on a national favourite. It’s creamy, nostalgic, and crafted for those who want comfort without gluten. Every slice brings back warm memories of home — but with a fresh, handmade twist.
We start with our golden, crumbly pastry shell. Made from Freee Plain White Flour and a dash of Xanthan Gum, it’s buttery, light, and completely gluten free. Then comes the smooth custard filling. We blend full-fat milk, free-range eggs, and vanilla extract to create a soft, velvety centre that melts in your mouth.
Next, we add the sweetness. Caster sugar and icing sugar offer the perfect balance — not too much, just enough. To thicken the custard and hold that perfect texture, we stir in organic cornflour. And to finish? A sprinkle of ground cinnamon for that unmistakable milk tart charm.
