Indulgent, vibrant, and irresistibly soft, our Gluten Free Red Velvet Cookies are a delicious twist on a much-loved classic. With their rich cocoa flavour, subtle tang, and striking red hue, these cookies deliver all the decadence of traditional red velvet baking, without the gluten.

Each batch begins with creamy plain butter, gently mixed with brown sugar to create a soft, chewy base and a deep, caramel-like sweetness. Fresh eggs are added to bind the dough and give the cookies their tender, cake-like interior. A splash of clear vanilla essence enhances the flavour, adding warmth and rounding out the richness of the cocoa.

To achieve the perfect gluten free texture, we use Freee Plain White Gluten Free Flour combined with xanthan gum. This blend provides structure while keeping the cookies soft and cohesive, with just the right amount of bite. A small amount of cocoa powder adds depth and that signature red velvet taste without overpowering the sweetness. Baking powder gives a gentle lift, ensuring the cookies remain light rather than dense, while a pinch of salt balances the flavours beautifully.
